Amber in Three Hours

The 20′ By 20′ Room: Amber in Three Hours
here Jim H. tries to define a genre/mechanic problem for playing good sized Amber games—and addressing immortal time scale.

Where Jim is looking at 5 to 7 players, I’ve usually dealt with 1 to 5 players—-and only up to 10 at con games (con games click along differently.)
That may mean I’ve never had a crunch on this issue that couldn’t be worked around. Jim has interesting thoughts.
I’m going to say more when I figure out if there is more to say.

  1. Hey Arref, thanks for picking this up. Can you write some about the experience of small-cast Amber campaigns? It seems scarcely possible to me, so I’d love to know how it works and where the fun comes from.
