A game where the PCs do not have their memory of their original agenda at game start. Not quite an amnesia game, since your PC is a Sith Master and the Force will inform your actions.
Three ideas together!
1. a group of PCs revived after ten thousand years
2. a world already in conflict with the ‘monstrous’ PCs perhaps a tipping point
3. a Star Wars universe
Sith Masters awakening from shutdown of long-forgotten stasis technology with no memories or attachment to their old ways can take over the universe or try to help fix it.
Champion of the Light Side is Luke Skywalker. His allies are a handfull of apprentices and the badly stretched New Republic.
Assumed: PCs are waking up without their names and past and a more ‘balanced Force flow’ from their long sleep. The serenity of stasis has quieted the fear/passion of the Dark Side. The agenda of the original motive is Dark politics from a much earlier universe, but the Plan has a false start to begin with: the stasis was supposed to last two thousand years, not ten thousand. Science and the Force have changed a bit and the old politics are meaningless. Modern events (first three films) have really changed the Jedi.
So Players should meta-plan some of these Sith Masters might reform, redeem or otherwise fall out with their companions. With ‘new eyes’ and feelings, how will the PCs wrestle a new fit to the Force universe?
Not intended as an ‘evil campaign’, I imagine a startup of 7 to 10 PCs, chosen from different races of the Star Wars canon (or a race now gone.) It would be nice if the Player Group could suggest some meta-consensus of one to three Players identifying PC stances headed for Dark or Light potentials with the rest of the cadre set for Shadow (noir?) stance.
I am working on a wiki setup and a list of features.
Also trying to figure out the diceless ‘star wars’ tropes. I’ve never rpg’d ‘star wars’ so if there is someone that wants to share info, please eTrump it to me.
